July 23rd 2009 Natalie returns home to Perth this week for a run of dates with The Justin Walshe Folk Machine. First up, there is a series of dates through the south-west, taking in Bunbury, Margaret River, and Pinjarra. The following weekend sees Natalie heralding the completion of her brand new album - Leaving Me Dry - with a very special celebration at The Norfolk Basement Lounge on Friday 7th August. Natalie is thrilled to not only be joined by The Justin Walshe Folk Machine once more, but also have Pete Stone and Kate Kelly turning in a set.
July 9th 2009 Let the fun begin. Natalie is currently out on the road playing with her good friend Andre Hooke (from Melbourne's favourite down-tempo folk collective Khancoban) in support of Vic Chesnutt and Victoria Williams. It is a whirlwind tour taking in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Then look for a handful of dates featuring just Natalie and Victoria including Melbourne, Ballarat, and Canberra. Stop by and say hi.
May 5th 2009 Natalie is currently in Santa Barbara's Sound Design studios recording her album. With eight songs so far recorded, she is now two-thirds through the undertaking ...

April 27th 2009 With her acoustic covers recording all but completed (and sounding sublime!), next week Natalie ventures into the studio proper to commence the recording of her album. With David Piltch (kd lang, Joe Henry, Madeleine Peyroux) guiding the production and Lynne Earles engineering, the sessions are taking place at Santa Barbara's Sound Design studios - the studio that most recently gave birth to Depeche Mode's latest album. Along with Natalie and David, the recoridng will feature the collective talents of Aaron Sterling (drums), Kenny Edwards (guitar, mandolin), Dan Phillips (piano), and Victoria Williams (banjo, vocals).

2nd 2009 Natalie is currently
in the studio with producer Jesse Rhodes (Stegosaurus)
working on some acoustic versions of a selection of songs which
have inspired her over the years. The recording is destined for release as an EP in June. In keeping the recordings simple, Natalie and Jesse are seeking to get to the emotional core of a selection of songs from both Australian and American songwriters. Joining Natalie and Jesse on the recording are Dan Phillips on piano, Phil Parlapiano on accordian, Sally Barr on fiddle, and Kenny Edwards on guitar.
March 28th 2009 On Saturday March 28th Natalie undertook a special performance at the True World Gallery in Joshua Tree, California. The concert was staged in conjunction with the opening reception for Brett Leigh Dicks' latest photographic exhibition titled Trees. Joining Natalie were some of her local friends. Victoria WIlliams and Mark Olson along with Mike Russell, reformed The Original Harnony Ridge Creekdippers for the evening. With Victoria having worked M.Ward, Jolie Holland, and Rickie Lee Jones of late and Mark releasing both a solo album and an album with his former Jayhawk contemporary Gary Louris, this was the first Creepdipper performance in almost four years ...

January 28th 2009 Kenny Edwards - who not only helps Natalie out on guitar when she is performing in southern California, but has played with the likes of Linda Ronstadt, Don Henley, Stevie Nicks, and Emmylou Harris - is playing a solo show at SOhO in Santa Barbara on Tuesday February 2nd. For those of you fortunate enough to be residing on California's central coast could do a lot worse than spend an evening in Kenny's musical company.
January 17th 2009 With the festivities surrounding G'Day now in full swing, Natalie has been invited to perform at the annual Australia-America Chamber of Commerce Black Tie Gala that is taking place at The Houstonian Hotel in Houston, Texas. While the event is an invitation-only affair, Natalie will also be performing at an Australian Week promotion the following day at Specs. Australian chef Jason Gould will in charge of the food and Bruno Lucia with be ensuring everybody is enjoying themselves. Specs is located at 2410 Smith Street in Houston and it all gets underway at 11:00am.
January 12th 2009 Natalie has been invited to perform at Western Australian Gala Showcase that is taking place in Los Angeles on Friday January 16th. The event is being sponsored by the Western Australian Government in association with ScreenWest. Also performing will be Australia's American Idol finalist Michael Johns. The event is taking place at ROAR (9701 Wilshire Boulevard, Beverley Hills) commencing at 6:00pm. For more information please contact rsvpwa@gmail.com.
January 2nd 2009 The Western Australian Department of Culture and the Arts recently confirmed the results of its latest round of funding. Natalie is thrilled to announce that the Contemporary Music Panel has awarded her a Music Production grant. The grant will afford Natalie the opportunity to record a full-length album in Santa Barbara, California, and then support the release with an album launch in Perth, Western Australia.
December 15th 2008 With Natalie heading to Tucson for the holiday period she will join Marianne Dissard on Friday December 26th for an evening of music at The Red Room on Congress Street. Marianne has recently released her debut album which was recorded in Tucson with the assistance of Calexico's Joey Burns. Natalie is on at 9:30pm and Marianne at 10:30pm.
November 24th 2009 Americana journeyman John Doe returns to Santa Barbara on Friday December 5th when he takes to the stage at SOhO. John will be joined by John and Cindy Wasserman and by Natalie D-Napoleon. Doors open at 8:00pm with Natalie commencing her set at 9:00pm.
